Roboform Tutorial for Submitter
This should be a quick Tutorial about the usage of Roboform together
with our Free TGP/MGP Submitter, at first please print this page
for future reference, and goto Roboform.com
and download yourself a free copy of that formfiller script.
Shortly said we're going to use Roboform to fill the submission
Forms on each site (name, email, gallery URL). Therefore
we'd have to make some preperations before we get started.
Step 1: After you've installed Roboform please ensure that
it's actually working, and that you can see Roboforms Toolbar in
your Browser.
Step 2 Form Filling: Please locate the "My Roboform
Data/Default Profile" Directory on your Harddrive, this
is the folder where all your personal Data is stored
Step 3 Form Filling: Download THIS
file, and save/unzip it within your "My Roboform Data/Default
Profile" Directory. You can also determine the exact path
if you goto "Roboform >> Options >> User Data"
in your Roboform Toolbar
Step 4 Form Filling: Start or restart (All
Windows/Tabs) your Browser to load the new Roboform Identities,
and come back to this Tutorial again...
Step 5 Form Filling: Now please goto "Roboform
>> Identities >> Edit" in your Rooform Toolbar.
A Window should open where the Identities you've just downloaded
and unzipped should be shown. I.e. "AGP_submit", "SmartThumbs_submit",
"Comus_submit", etc...
Step 6 Form Filling: Open the first
identity, i.e. "AGP_submit" and select the "Custom"
Tab on the top
Step 7 Form Filling: At the "Custom"
Tab, please enter your Gallery Info like Email, Name, Gallery URL
etc into the "Field Value" Column. For the Gallery URLs
it's best if you use the root URL of your Gallery i.e. http://www.yourdomain.com/galleries/nude.html
Step 8 Form Filling: Please repeat that for
every Identity you have, so also for "SmartThumbs_submit",
"Comus_submit" and so on. When you're done click on the
"Save & Close" Button in the top left corner
Step 9 Form Filling: Next please goto "Roboform
>> Options >> AutoFill" in your Roboform Toolbar
and enable (check) the "Offer to AutoFill (HTML) Forms"
and "AutoFill Without Asking" option at the top. And aktivate
the Radiobutton next to "Only from Identities"
Step 10 Form Filling: Now to use Roboform you'd
have to limit/split up your submissions by submission script, cause
it's easier and faster if you do i.e. all AGP Sites first, and then
all Comus Sites etc. as opposed to doing all Sites at once. Therefore
please start with "AGP" Sites.
Step 11 Form Filling: Scroll down in the top
Frame, and load the first Submission Form by clicking on the "Submit"
link of the first listing.
Step 12 Form Filling: Goto "Roboform >>
Indentities" in your Roboform Toolbar, and select "AGP_submit"
as default by left clicking on it once.
Step 13 Form Filling: Now the shown Submission
form should get autofilled with your info.
Step 14 Form Filling: Unfortunately you'd have
to correct your Gallery root URL with the proper extension (i.e.
"aX") for each site. This is neccessary cause we had to
generate multiple mirror pages of your Gallery Template, to ensure
that each TGP/MGP has it's matching Recip Link.
So if your initial Gallery Template was http://www.yourdomain.com/galleries/nude.html
it would become
http://www.yourdomain.com/galleries/nudea1.html
http://www.yourdomain.com/galleries/nudea2.html
http://www.yourdomain.com/galleries/nudea3.html
In the "Gallery Filename" field you'll always
see the correct filename you'd have to enter in the submission form.
Step 15 Form Filling: Please continue working
through the list that way, all following submission forms should
get autofilled too automatic.
Step 16 Form Filling: And finally, if you continue
with the next application List, i.e. "Comus", you'd just
have to load the matching Identity "Comus_submit" as your
default identity again, as described in Step 12, that's it. For
some reason Roboform is not able to autofill Forms that are used
by SmartThumbs, so you'd have to click manually on your SmartThumbs
Identity each time.
